CLARKSDALE, Miss.–A person deputies say was trying to break into a car and the homeowner shot at each other Saturday morning in Coahoma County.
The incident was on New Africa Rd., about 3 a.m. When a deputy got there the homeowner told him he shot at the suspect after the suspect shot at him four times.
The burglar was described as a slim Black male, with a white mask.
He ran and got in what the homeowner described as an SUV-type vehicle. Pictures obtained from video later showed the vehicle to be a white four-door car.
Neither the burglar nor the homeowner were hurt.
