OLIVE BRANCH, Miss.–On May 12, a DoorDash driver in Olive Branch was pepper sprayed and the car the victim was using was stolen by people wearing ski masks. Now one of the people accused has been returned to Mississippi to face charges.
The DeSoto County District Attorney’s office says a 16-year-old is back in DeSoto County to face a judge. His name is not being released due to his age.
The DA’s office says he will be charged as an adult and the charges are “serious felony” charges.
A 13-year-old is also being charged, but that case will be in youth court. Another person, 18-year-old Courtney Fleming, is still on the loose.
