JACKSON, MS (152 PM CDT Fri Jul 31 2020) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Morehouse Parish in northeastern Louisiana Northern Richland Parish in northeastern Louisiana West Carroll Parish in northeastern Louisiana until 245 PM CDT. At 152 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 9 miles north of Sterlington to 6 miles north of Claiborne, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Severe thunderstorms will be near Beekman around 210 PM CDT. Bastrop and Galion around 215 PM CDT. Jones around 225 PM CDT. Goodwill around 240 PM CDT. Oak Grove around 245 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Collinston, Mer Rouge, Pioneer, Kilbourne, Forest, Bonita, Oak Ridge and Epps.
