JACKSON, MS (1232 PM CST Mon Dec 16 2019) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Central Yazoo County in central Mississippi Southwestern Madison County in central Mississippi until 115 PM CST. At 1232 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Brownsville, or 11 miles north of Clinton, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will be near Flora around 1240 PM CST. Myrleville around 1255 PM CST. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Bentonia. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
