JACKSON, MS (232 PM CST Mon Dec 16 2019) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southern Chicot County in southeastern Arkansas Northeastern East Carroll Parish in northeastern Louisiana Northeastern West Carroll Parish in northeastern Louisiana Southern Washington County in northwestern Mississippi Northwestern Issaquena County in west central Mississippi Northern Sharkey County in west central Mississippi until 330 PM CST. At 232 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Oak Grove, or 13 miles southeast of Wilmot, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will be near Shelburn around 245 PM CST. Gassoway and Millikin around 250 PM CST. Glen Allan around 300 PM CST. Grace around 305 PM CST. Panther Burn and Nitta Yuma around 310 PM CST. Hollandale, Delta City and Estill around 315 PM CST. Murphy and Darlove around 325 PM CST. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Mayersville and Kilbourne. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
