NASHVILLE, TN (Ben Caxton) — Tommy Stevens will start at quarterback in the Music City Bowl for Mississippi State today. Freshman Garrett Shrader is doubtful after suffering an upper-body injury. Coach Joe Moorhead says Stevens is experienced and has performed well when he’s been healthy this season, and Keayton Thompson will be Stevens’ backup. No Bulldog players are expected to sit out with suspensions or academic issues. The Bulldogs face Louisville at 3 o’clock today in Nashville.
