GREENVILLE, MS (Ben Caxton) — Police report an armed robbery occurred at the Dollar General store on Highway 1 North in Greenville Thursday night. Officers arriving at the scene were told by store employees that two, slender black males, each around 6 feet tall entered the store with their faces covered and displayed a handgun, demanded the money, and assaulted one of the employees. The suspects then fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash in an unknown vehicle eastbound on Abide Road.
