JACKSON, MS (825 PM CDT Sat Mar 28 2020) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southern East Carroll Parish in northeastern Louisiana Northwestern Madison Parish in northeastern Louisiana Northwestern Issaquena County in west central Mississippi until 915 PM CDT. At 825 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Delhi, or 12 miles east of Rayville, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will be near Waverly around 830 PM CDT. Tendal around 835 PM CDT. Monticello around 840 PM CDT. Sondheimer around 845 PM CDT. Transylvania and Alsatia around 850 PM CDT. Fitler around 900 PM CDT. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
