LITTLE ROCK, AR (1224 PM CDT Wed Apr 22 2020) — The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Central Bradley County in southeastern Arkansas Southeastern Calhoun County in southwestern Arkansas Southwestern Drew County in southeastern Arkansas until 100 PM CDT. At 1224 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Calion, or 11 miles east of Norphlet, moving northeast at 70 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include Hermitage Calion Harrell Ingalls Hilo Moro Bay State Park Lanark Moro Bay Artesian Farmville Johnsonville Gravelridge Mt Olive in Bradley County Marsden Jersey Sumpter For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
