LULA, Miss.–A fire destroyed a house Monday morning in Lula, which is in Coahoma County, despite the best efforts of fire crews from three departments.
The fire happened about daylight, according to a Facebook post from the Coahoma County Fire Dept. By the time the first crew arrived the house was fully engulfed and flames were shooting out of the roof.
Firefighters from Lyon and Lula also helped to try and extinguish the fire, to no avail.
The home was a total loss, but no injuries were reported.
