YAZOO CITY, Miss.–The man who is accused of hitting his grandmother over the head with a cast iron skillet turned himself in Thursday, said the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Dept.
Cedric Ross contacted the department through a third party, said a Facebook post from the Sheriff’s Dept., saying he wanted to turn himself in, then did it.
Ross is expected to be charged with aggravated domestic violence.
“This serves notice that regardless what happens you always have a chance to do the right thing,” read the Facebook post.
