The Cleveland Volunteer Fire Department dedicated Cleveland’s brand new pumper, FD21.
Part of that dedication was revealing the name of the truck. “Donald” was selected as the name of this truck, to honor Mr. Donald Swafford, a 20-year Retired Member. The Department wants to thank the Swafford family, Mayor Nowell, Alderman Abraham, Alderman Bishop, City Attorney Griffith, Mr. Trotter from Community Development, Retired CVFD Members, Active Members, and families for attending the dedication.
FD21 will officially go into service after training & certification from Emergency Equipment Professionals later this month.
