The forecast hasn’t really changed much for Friday night & Saturday morning snow possibilities. The best bet will be North MS & beyond for snowfall, but some light snow & flurries are possible in Central MS as the weather system winds down.
Accumulation this far south gets very tricky because the ground will be warm and air temperatures near or above freezing. This will be a cold & dry air mass moving in quick with the moisture running away just as fast.
Timing is everything here, not so much farther north. Either way, it’s definitely going to be windy & cold.
