JACKSON, MS (1253 PM CST Mon Dec 16 2019) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southern Ashley County in southeastern Arkansas Morehouse Parish in northeastern Louisiana until 145 PM CST. At 1253 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Huttig to 15 miles south of Lapile to 6 miles southeast of Farmerville, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Severe thunderstorms will be near Crossett around 105 PM CST. Beekman and Berlin around 120 PM CST. Bastrop around 125 PM CST. Galion around 130 PM CST. Wilmot and Parkdale around 135 PM CST. Jones around 140 PM CST. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Collinston, Mer Rouge and Bonita. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
