JACKSON, MS (343 AM CST Sat Jan 11 2020) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Northeastern Bolivar County in northwestern Mississippi until 430 AM CST. At 342 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Gunnison, or 10 miles north of Rosedale, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD: 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. This severe thunderstorm will be near Deeson around 350 AM CST. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Duncan and Alligator. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
