JACKSON, MS (1015 AM CDT Mon Jun 22 2020) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Central Madison Parish in northeastern Louisiana Central Warren County in west central Mississippi South central Issaquena County in west central Mississippi until 1100 AM CDT. At 1014 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Afton, or 7 miles southwest of Tallulah, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will be near Tallulah around 1020 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Mound, Delta and Richmond. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
