JACKSON, MS (1227 AM CST Wed Mar 4 2020) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Central Morehouse Parish in northeastern Louisiana North central East Carroll Parish in northeastern Louisiana West Carroll Parish in northeastern Louisiana until 115 AM CST. At 1227 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Bastrop, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will be near Goodwill around 1245 AM CST. Oak Grove around 1255 AM CST. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Forest, Collinston, Mer Rouge, Pioneer and Oak Ridge. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
