JACKSON, MS (1123 PM CDT Wed Apr 22 2020) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southern Sunflower County in northwestern Mississippi Central Washington County in northwestern Mississippi until midnight CDT. At 1123 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Estill, or near Hollandale, moving northeast at 85 mph. HAZARD: Half dollar size hail. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Damage to vehicles is expected. This severe thunderstorm will be near Indianola, Inverness and Holly Ridge around 1135 PM CDT. Moorhead around 1140 PM CDT. Sunflower and Blaine around 1145 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Arcola and Doddsville. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
