Trash Pickup Changes In Greenville For The New Year Holiday

Today, Mayor Simmons announces the garbage and trash pick-up schedule for the New Year’s Holiday. The City of Greenville will be closed Friday, December 31st, and Monday, January 3, 2022, in observance of the New Year’s holiday. For this week, Monday’s and Tuesday’s routes will be picked up on Tuesday, December 28th. Wednesday and Thursday’s routes will be picked up Wednesday, December 29th. Friday’s route will be picked up on Thursday, December 30th.

For the following week, Monday’s route will be picked up Tuesday, January 4th. Tuesday’s routes will be picked up Wednesday, January 5th. Wednesday’s route will be picked up Thursday, January 6th. Thursday and Friday’s routes will be picked up Friday, January 7th. These changes were made to provide our services in a timely and effective manner.
